wearing a gifted GYPSY 05 mini dress at the Two Point Oh! LA pre-fashion week party!!  favorite LA brand because every time i slip on one of their dresses i feel like i am on a beach in tahiti.  {which i would LOVE right now}  the party was at The Falls Lounge downtown LA complete with fancy cocktails and a wonderful boyfriend on my arm!!!  super excited for the craziness of next week to start! stay tuned! xx

the LOOKBOOK

STYLIN'

this past saturday i had the opportunity to be a part of Two Point Oh! LA's spring style event at the south bay galleria.  each stylist was assigned a store and tasked with assembling outfits fit for spring while passersby (and friends and family) texted to vote for their favorite look.  i used clothing from The Limited and created looks that could transition from day to night and a few lazy weekend outfits - and guess what?! i won!!! thank you for the crazy amount of support i received and make sure to check out the online contest here!! {insert one of 103498349873 reasons to vote for me and The Limited...} it is quick and easy and will make me super happy :)

here are a few of my looks!

brittney (left): white 3/4 length blazer, ruffle neck multi color polka-dot silk tank, black stretch trouser, silver hinged cuff and mini purple python clutch. (shoes: model's own)

michelle (right): charturse silk layering tank, nude and white polka-dot high waisted silk skirt, metallic beaded long necklace, gold lucite cuff and large black and white python shoulder bag. (shoes: model's own)

michelle: green, black and white striped tea dress, black large woven belt, silver bangles, and white cloth cuff (shoes: model's own)

my models were absolutely fantastic and i couldn't have done it without you!!! love love!!  and special thanks to kelsi smith who is amazing as always :) x

last friday night i had the pleasure of attending the Pre-Academy Red Carpet Style Party hosted by QVC at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel. i brought my momma as my plus one and we spent the night hiding from the rain (and mud-puddles), sipping fancy drinks and sighting all sorts of celebrities! all night QVC was broadcasting live from the venue so we also spent a lot of time staring at the models...thanks KELSI! xx

if you have ever been around me for um, 10 minutes, you will know that i am OBSESSED with animals. like animal lover to the extreme. alsooo, you would know that i like farm animals too. {so much so that within the discussion on if i am going to move with my boyfriend when he goes to grad school - i made it quite clear that if we are to venture out of the city it is a REQUIREMENT that he buy me a pig.}

anyway, when i saw these photos from GYPSY05's summer 2011 lookbook - i dieddd. {also for the dresses...haha} but really, i love GYPSY and everything they are doing!! love love love. much love. xx
